TV Unit Design for Hall & Living Room
The right television size is set by how far away the sofa is. Most Mumbai halls get a screen too large for the room.

About tv unit for hall
The hall TV wall is the one every visitor sees, so it gets the budget. It is also the wall most constrained by everything else in the room — a window, the AC, the main door swing, and a beam.
Start with the viewing distance. Comfortable viewing is roughly 1.5 to 2.5 times the screen diagonal. In a typical Mumbai hall with the sofa at 8 to 10 feet, that is a 55 to 65 inch screen. Larger than that and people sit too close to take in the whole frame.

TV Unit for Hall — questions
What size TV suits my hall?
Measure from the sofa to the wall. Comfortable viewing is a screen diagonal of roughly 1.5 to 2.5 times that distance — so a sofa at 9 feet suits a 55 to 65 inch screen. Going larger is common and it means sitting too close to take in the whole frame comfortably.
How do I avoid glare from the window?
Position the screen so the window is not directly opposite or at a shallow angle to it. Where the layout gives no choice, the answer is a blind rather than a different panel design. We mark the screen position during the site visit at the time of day you watch most.
Can the unit run across the full wall?
It can, and it often should not. A full-width unit commits the room to one layout permanently and costs considerably more. A unit sized to the screen plus storage either side usually gives the same effect with flexibility retained.
